Just tried to renew my tags at this location at the new kiosk. It took my money and never printed my tags or receipt. What a waste of time, I'll never trust their kiosk, the old one was never an issue and indicated when it was out of order. Now to make a make another trip there on Wednesday...
I text ahead for an appointment, said I had 180 minutes to wait. Finally time to go in and still waited over 30 minutes in line... Even though I already had an appointment... At one point there was No One behind the counter for a very long time.... That started the people talking ...
I used the MI Time Line service to get in line about 90 minutes ahead. Stayed at work until it was appropriate to leave. Showed up with three people in line in front of me. Renewed my moped registration in about two minutes.
Got in at 11:30am, they estimated a 2 hour wait, it is now going on 2:30pm and I'm still 4th in line. Looking for a way to waste your day? Come to the Secretary of State at Rogers plaza, you'll be sitting there for hours with all sorts of nothing to do. I ended up getting lunch and they text me my estimated time was 30 mins, so I get back to S.oS, wait 20 mins and then receive another text saying my estimated time was 40 mins.
Employee was friendly and worked quickly.
Truly pathetic. Arrived at opening and after 4 hours I still have 80 people ahead of me. 12 service counters and only 6 people working. HIRE MORE PEOPLE DUMBASSES.
