Jeff just left my house actually. Lost my only set of keys while shoveling the snow last night and went into panic. After calling around at different places and getting different quotes ranging from $150-175, jeff beat them all with a quote of $145. I was sold. He was friendly from the time we were on the phone this morning, till the time he left my house just now. He explained the process to me (as this has never happened to me before) & got me a new key made in less than 15min or so. Im so thankful for him! Thanks Jeff!
When I received the receipt, I noticed that I was charged $175.00 for the "Service Call," 0.49 for the "Kia ST Key Blank," $10.00 for the "Code Income," and $114.48 for the "Labor Transponder Key"
I contacted this company out of desperation - my phone battery was low, AAA gave me their number only, and I was stranded without the keys to my car. I called and the service provider told me the cost would be $300 and it would take 1.5 hours for him to arrive. 1.5 hours later I contacted him to make certain he wasn't lost, and he told me it would be an additional 1.5 hours before he arrived. He also said he'd have the key ready when he arrived so we could leave quickly, and he did not.
Excellent service!! I called Jeff and he was able to work with my availability and get me the keys I wanted fast! I will definitely call Jeff again if I lose a key, much quicker than going to the dealer and a much fairer price. Highly recommended!
Looks to me like I not only had to wait 3 hours for him to arrive and 30 minutes for him to make the key, but I was also ridiculously overcharged. If you can avoid using this company, I'd advise you do so.
I should note that the specialist who arrived was very friendly and polite to me and he also had battery cables to jump my car. I think his customer service is the only good experience I had with this company.
The most frustrating thing about this, is the cost of the key. I didn't get a receipt - so I could get a refund from AAA - and the specialist said he would email me the receipt. I did not receive this receive this receipt until after 17 days, 6 phone calls, and 10 text messages reminding them to send it. - I did later receive a very apologetic text from the specialist saying he had been on vacation and thought it was taken care of. Again, that's nice, but it doesn't change the frustration I felt while trying to reach out.
I lost my keys in the river, and after a week of calling other places......I made connection with Jeff and they went right out to my vehicle and made the key to it and I was able to go pick it up. The customers service was great. Thank you.
My only set of keys was in the surf of Lake Michigan and I was stranded 45 minutes from home. Called Jeff, he rearranged his schedule and drove an hour to make 2 keys and a fob and get me on my way... at a very fair price! I recommend him to anyone. Quick, professional and courteous.
