Never enough registers open. No one answers the phone. The bottle room is a mess. They only have self serve check out after 10 pm. They often overcharge on items, so check your receipt. Their store is clean and neat, though, except for the bottle room. Panhandlers often outside. They do have pleasant employees who try to help.
It doesn't look like Family Fare is hurting THAT much that they can't afford to hire real cashiers.
Love walking in at 1am for diapers after a long shift, then being told the registers are down and I will have to stand and wait for 10 minutes. Had fun standing there while someone used the loud floor buffer around me. Then was treated to hearing employees in the aisles complaining about how people get upset every night they close the registers down. They were in the middle of stocking aisles but completely unorganized, boxes all over the middle of the baby aisle.
More than half of their checkouts are self-checkouts. You are the cashier.
Don't waste your money buying a cake here.$60+ bought me a cake that looked like a 10 year old made it...
Great employees, bent over backwards to help. Very good prices, clean, i would make this my go to grocery store if I lived near by. Great experience.
