It's always clean and bright, but the bathrooms always smell bad and they can be gross. They need to invest in some cleaning supplies in there
Needs to be remodeled & traffic fed more coherently thru the lot.
Given the emergence of this area as a shopping destination, one would expect Meijer to schedule long overdue updates to building. It looks old! Missing many of the nice Meijer amenities found at most other locations. Still, this is a well run store!! Puts nearby Walmart to shame. Well stocked, wider selection, very good pricing...
This store is a little smaller and more compacted than some others but that's not bad. It's nice to get to what you want and get right back out again! They always seem to have enough cashiers and the service desk is always helpful.
Staff is nice & lines aren't long.
Also conveniently has a Huntington inside which is nice.
Meijer always seems to have a bounty of fresh produce and just about anything else you might need. The huge size does make it hard to navigate the store. All the new business and being located right off the highway exit make local traffic extremely difficult. After coming here for many years, I have found it easier going to another Meijer location.
The Meijer grocery store chain is great, and as always a fantastic place to go get items you need. It was explained to me as a higher-end Walmart but I think it is set apart in the great customer service and clean atmosphere they have. I am always able to find everything I need, and quickly. The reason I rated this one a bit lower, was that the day I went, the store was a bit dirty and crowded. And it wasn't crowded by people, the aisles were crowded with displays and it was very difficult to find anything or get around. But this is not the experience I've had at most Meijer stores, so I am not concerned about giving a good review. I was able to quickly get in and find my husband dress shirts to wear under his suit that he had forgotten for our rehearsal dinner. So overall, it was a successful stop!
