Used Big Brothers in December. Great gal in office & guys who moved us were amazing.. had a bit more furniture then they expected. Guys worked a 12 hour day with only a 30 minute break.. we bought pizza as they didnt want to stop and get dinner.
My husband called to get a quote earlier this morning regarding some boxes we need unloaded. We were told that they need to check to see if they were available the day we needed them. We made sure they knew this was a time sensitive and to let us know. Well they are yet to give us a call. We have called but they don't even answer. I would have appreciated a call back, it's just what professional businesses do. Don't you guys do this for a living? I am very disappointed! Thankfully there are other businesses ( your competition) who are happy to get my business.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Big Brother for moving. The RJ, Jeff, and Tony didn't ding the walls or corners, handled all the furniture with care on our newly refinished wood floors, and were pleasant to be around.
While unloading they backed their truck into our parked car (we were not even in the car) on private property causing significant damage. The person in charge calls boss, explains what happened, apologizes over and over, says don't worry, company will take care of it. OK, accidents happen. We record details, take photos. Next day we call them on how to proceed, they tell us to call our insurance company, not their problem. Our insurance company says that is nonsense, no fault does not apply in such cases, but if we don't get anywhere they will cover it and get it from the mover's insurer. We are now wondering if they even have insurance as the driver could not even find proof of insurance in their truck. We got burned. Call someone else so you don't get burned too.
Would highly recommend this company for your next move.
And the guys came in an hour less than the estimate.
Scheduled (and rescheduled) with this company twice in one week. No-show both times. No communication. Would not recommend.
